ZooTampa At Lowry Park

This is a nice zoo that can be seen in 3-4 hours. There are experiences you can add for an additional fee. There are also rides and a splash pad for children. We wanted to see the zoo because we enjoy the show Secrets of the Zoo:Tampa. We liked the primate area, especially the orangs. We could have watched them all day. The Florida exhibits were cool, too. It’s a little pricey at $50. But your admission supports their work.

Don’t Go on a Saturday!! No Parking!! It was disappointing to find out the African exhibit was closed. Lots of high priced concessions!! Nice activities for children. Having watched Zoo Tampa on TV, I was disappointed that the full experience was not available!!
