I have been going to this zoo for years and can not say enough great thing about it!! Ten years ago my 5 yr old grandson got seperated from us....biggest scare of my life! The staff was quick with their response and once he was located, multiple staff surrounded him to protect him until they got to me. More current, a day at the zoo is so pleasant! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The animals areas are clean and maintained. There are plenty of benches to rest or just watch the animals. All the rides are included in the ticket price!! What a great deal! If I lived closer I would be a volunteer for sure!! There is always something new to see that you may have never noticed before. I just love this zoo!!!

We never thought we would see a koala bear in real life and they have 2. They were in separate rooms which I was wondering why but maybe just don’t get along. The tiger was pacing so that was little disturbing. Fun time.

Not worth the cost or the time. About 20% of the exhibits were closed or without animals including the new manatee exhibit. On a 95 degree day, the splash bad was down for maintenance and the worker said it was down for some time. Very few water fountains and the ones that we found had only warm water. 2 of the 8 cars on the roller coaster were broke which made the wait almost 30 minutes. I should have listened to previous reviews and avoided this poorly run attraction.
