This 3-day hike through the Grand Canyon National Park will be one thing you do in your life that you'll never forget! This all-inclusive hike is a wonderful introduction to hiking. As you hike to the canyon floor, enjoy the Colorado River, relax under the shady cottonwood trees near Bright Angel Creek, or grab a lemonade at historic Phantom Ranch! You can take a side hike to Plateau Point for amazing 360 views of the sunset will not disappoint! All permits and fees, gear, meals, snacks, transportation and a certified wilderness guide are all included!

Katie Jones! Yes the hike and views were wonderful but Katie brought it all together for us with her really bubbly personality. She provided everything we could ask for and went above and beyond our expectations. I strongly recommend her! Discovery treks has a winner there! Originally we were going to do rim to rim but the north rim wasn't opening on time this year so we did south kaibab to bright angel and the vast and varied landscapes were unforgettable! We got very lucky to get Katie all to ourselves as all the others backed out! Maybe next year rim to rim in October when it is hopefully a bit cooler!

umm… this trip was absolutely amazing! I went on the 3 day backpacking tour to the colorado river and my group consisted of 4 other members, which was the perfect amount. Keenan was our guide and went out of his way to make the experience memorable; from preparing amazing meals to taking us on a extra hike to the 360 view of plateau point. There was never a dull moment.

We enjoyed the whole experience equally.We couldn’t have picked two better people than Joe & Harry to this once in a life time adventure.Our guide Keenan was unbelievable.He kept us safe.Explained many things about the history of the canyon that we didn’t know.Some how he seemed to know what we needed before we needed it.We are very inexperienced at camping & back pack hiking.He was one step ahead of us all the way.Also he is an AWESOME COOK.
