Jake was amazing. He gave us a very thorough tour thru Montgomery AL. He explained the history of Alabama and took us all around the city. He stopped at every important building and parts of the city and explained how they were part of the history of civil rights. Very professional and friendly.

Montgomery was the final stop on our civil rights road trip through Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama. Our tour with Jake was the perfect ending! We had the opportunity to do both the city tour and the tour out to Selma and back. I had originally booked the tour to Selma, but then Jake ended up doing the city tour and I didn't realize that we had mis-communicated until it was too late to go out to Selma that day. It wasn't a big deal, as my family loved the tour of Montgomery. Even so, Jake went above and beyond to make things right. He had another group scheduled to go to Selma the next morning and he arranged for us to join them. The trip out to Selma was incredible and we were so thankful his other group generously agreed to let us join their tour. Jake has so many personal stories and experiences that make this tour really impactful. He made history come alive and captivated our girls, ages 10, 14, and 18 - -and that's saying a lot considering we had already stopped at about ten civil rights sites prior to this tour. I recommend either of this tours - they are both fantastic and you just can't go wrong. He also found some really cute "Sweet Home Alabama" t-shirts and gave them to our girls, which they loved. Thanks, Jake!
