If you are in the front you get a panoramic view of the canyon but in the back you get a panoramic view of the front passengers. Its very unfair that Maverick charge the same price whether you are in the front or the back of this helicopter. Very frustrating when three of the passengers are whooping with joy as they board..... As several reviewers have pointed out, if you are an average male you should expect to be in the rear seat and if you are in the middle dont expect to capture any decent photos. Sorry Maverick, but this is grossly unfair.

We at Maverick Helicopters make safety our top priority and while I understand and empathize with your frustration in regards to the seating situation, we have to be very careful to properly balance the helicopter and all seating arrangements reflect that. I am sorry that you feel that your seats did not provide the best view but we exclusively fly the ECOSTAR helicopter which is the model that provides the optimum views for sightseeing and we do feel we are providing a quality product no matter where you are seated in the aircraft. It is unfortunate that you felt your experience was lacking but we certainly appreciate our customer’s taking the time to share feedback good or bad. Kind regards, A Maverick Team Member

This was my first helicopter flight, and it truly set the standard for all others that may follow. Our pilot, Chris, while extremely professional, was as friendly and informative as he could be. When "the bottom dropped out" as we cleared the mesa at the rim of the Grand Canyon, it was the most exhilarating experience of my life to date (and I've had a number of them, happily). It. Just. Takes. Your. Breath. Away. We saw so much (even wildlife "bathing" in a small pond on a mesa on our way back in)! Chris and Maverick made it incredibly memorable for our party. This experience will be tough to top. We will be back!

I have to admit, I was more than a little wary of getting into a helicopter and flying over the Grand Canyon! I made the mistake of googling previous accidents! However, we awoke to beautiful blue skies and little wind so I took the plunge (not literally)! The ride was exhilarating! It truly is the best way to see the canyon in all its beauty.
