Only on Hilton Head and only in Harbour Town can you sail aboard the real America's Cup, 12 meter, Stars & Stripes once skippered by the famous Dennis Connor. All trips take place under full sail. We only use our motor to get in and out of Harbour Town.

  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Travelers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • We don't offer any infant rates for this trip as the tickets are a per person rate. All ages will need a ticket.
  • Stars & Stripes is USCG approved to carry up to 30 passengers, but since COVID we have limited public capacity to 20 passengers.
  • Private charters are available for Stars & Stripes. Please contact Vagabond Cruise if you are interested to learn more about this option.

Unfortunately we did not have a lot of wind, but skipper and crew were excellent and overall it was a lot of fun. Seating was a little uncomfortable.

We had a nice cruise with Vagabond Cruises.. One item to note is that this is within Sea Pines - meaning that you will have to pay $9 (cash only) to get into that side of the island, which we were not aware of. The cruise itself was not that exciting until we found dolphins! It was thankfully a good day for that as we saw several huge pods. I will say that I think I might have been a bit bored if not for that. One thing I would suggest is to bring water as there was not much shade on the boat and a hat. The staff was very nice and we would return!

Beautiful afternoon sail! The crew was amazing. Recommend that you take the opportunity to take this adventure. It is on our “Must Do” list when family and friends are in town.
