Not only were the adults very tuned in, but my 15 year old daughter said this was the only history tour she has ever been on that she didn’t stop paying attention. This is high praise! This is not your run of the mill tour of Philadelphia. The stories, the additional visuals, and the delivery were the perfect combination. There is so much more to Philadelphia and this carefully researched tour highlighted some stories we neither thought about or knew to ask. Women made some very essential contributions to the city. We really want a monument to William Penn’s wife now. You will not regret booking this tour. Joey was fantastic! We can’t wait to go on one of the others when we are next in town.

Thank you so much for coming and for your kind feedback. I'm so happy you all enjoyed the tour and agree everybody should know Hannah Callowhill Penn's name! It was a true pleasure getting to know your crew and talking about some of the badass women who have built this city! -Joey

First, we had no idea how little we knew about some of the most influential women in our nation's history! Second, Rebecca made this history come alive for us - with informative, inspirational and humorous stories that opened our eyes and made us hungry for more! We highly recommend this tour for anyone who feels like breaking the mold and learning about women and minorities and the way in which history has largely forgotten or simply ignored their contribution to our ideals, politics, and social practices. We so enjoyed the morning - the relaxed conversation, interesting tidbits and easy pace. After the tour, we just wanted to learn more and what could be more effective than leaving your audience with a genuine curiosity and desire to continue the journey!? Well done Rebecca!

In all honesty I am not much of a tour person because on them you typically get the shallow stories we all learned about in history class. This tour blew my mind and changed my views on tours. My mother and I attended with the insightful Rebecca and learned so much about the women who shaped and are still shaping this great city! Highly recommend, you will learn, be inspired and see some great sites!
