The Big Bus Tours is the ONLY way to see New York City and see everything!! Just seeing all the sights is so overwhelming but there is a bonus as you get a tour guide who can tell you all the historical facts and also some little ancidotes about celebrities who live there and events that took place. Now a tour is a tour but the guides on this bus take it a notch higher! On our Downtown tour we had Michael who was very entertaining and gave each person a personal moment to chit chat with and to find out where they were from. He would ask questions and hand out silly prizes for the correct answer. We even saw Michael while we were waiting for the Brooklyn tour, screamed out to him and he jumped off the bus to say hello and give a hug! On our Brooklyn tour we had Elizabeth as our guide and Hannibal as our driver. What a team they made! Because of the climate protests and the United Nations meeting we started our tour about 20 minutes late. No one was upset but When we passed Amery Ice cream they asked if we wanted to stop for ice cream. Everyone said YES! What a nice touch and surprise. We also did uptown and Harlem which we were so glad to see. Now of course we had to go on the night tour to see all the light in Times Square and a view of the Manhatten from the Brooklyn side. Wow! Our tour guide was Bernie for this tour. He was a true gentlman and you could tell he really loved his job and meeting all the tourists. Bernie made the evening special for my sister and I and even sang happy birthday to her. The tour guides really made the Big Bus Tours great, but I really have to compliment the drivers. They drove us all around in such crazy traffic safely. It was a wonderful experience!!!

Very expensive, comparing to City sightseeing which is only 29 per person. The guide didn't use the microphone so it was very difficult to hear him.

Way too long of a wait for buses. Sometimes couldn’ Get on because the bus was full. Many grey,Inez would go by us while we waited
