My husband and I had purchased Go City passes which included the Big Bus tour. We found the staff weren’t friendly, too busy talking to each other rather than providing any customer service. They seemed most interested in selling as many tickets as possible so you felt like a number rather than a person. The line to board the bus was long but did move fairly quickly. We were offered a seat upstairs so had good views of New York sites. The Downtown loop was meant to take approx 90 minutes, however due to traffic, it took over an hour longer than this! Wasn’t ideal at all in 32 degree heat so this affected our enjoyment. Majority of the tour was stopping for traffic or for people to get on/off the bus, so not as much sightseeing as we expected.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear you did not enjoy the tour due to the traffic and weather during your visit. Unfortunately, New York City traffic can be heavy at times . During the summer months, we do have increased traffic which does sometimes cause our tours to go on for longer than anticipated. We try our best to navigate safely through the traffic during these times. We also apologize if any of our staff was not welcoming. Dreadful experience. Sellers in red uniforms at every major intersection inducing you to buy tickets but don’t tell you how infrequent the buses are. At several stops we waited over 30 minutes in searing heat , with poor or non-existent management of ‘lines’ and only rarely managed to find seats upstairs.

Great seeing all the sights and hearing about different areas with the earphones. Driver was very nice but continually pushed for tips. I think most people would have done this anyway
