Glad we got to see Alcatraz, but didn’t get the use out of the bus that we should have for the $. Bus stopped running at 5:00 which in my mind did not justify the amount of money we spent. Bus drivers and everyone who worked there was extremely friendly and helpful.

I would definitely recommend doing this tour. Take the audio tour offered at Alcatraz, without it, you will miss all the details. Dress warm, they aren't joking when they say the bay gets cold with the currents and fog. You will be surprised by this historic island. Book early to ensure your spot.
