Brian was very good and made the engagement worthwhile. That said, the website gave the start time but provided no information on the format or length of the adventure (suppose to be three hours). In addition, there is more than a little walking required, so be prepared but not necessarily a deal-killer. Would also have liked more information about the foods likely to be served in advance. As it was, we started with an egg sandwich breakfast at The VineApple, which was good and had an unexpected nice chat with the owner, walked part of the Brooklyn promenade and then to the middle of the bridge and then back over to the Manhattan Bridge and the DUMBO area. Enjoyed dumplings at a hole-in-the-wall (Lucky Rabbit), which were quite good and again chatted with the owner but didn't stay too long because there are only two tables inside and nothing outside, had very small cookies at One Girl Cookies and a truffle at Jacques Torres and then had a chance to sit down inside The Time Out New York Market (enjoying some empanadas (Migrant Kitchen) and fried pickles (Jacobs). before walking over to Julianna's for pizza (which turned out to be the most disappointing bite on the whole trip!! -- more historical than gastronomical). It may all be a different experience in less than chilly weather and with some ability to dine inside and chat for a moment. We learned much about these neighborhoods, historical, cultural and architectural. Final analysis, would recommend.

We will take these notes and make sure that our materials match what we provide. Glad to know you enjoyed the food, history, and conversation. And sorry to hear about the experience at Julianna's. We will observe the pizza tasting closely as pizza is a hallmark of NYC food. We hope you enjoyed the rest of the trip and hope to see you soon!
