Browns Canyon on the Arkansas River is our most popular trip! The unique combination of lots of exciting whitewater, spectacular canyon scenery, great mountain views of some of Colorado’s highest mountains and opportunities to spot wildlife make this the ideal raft trip. Exciting enough for seasoned paddlers, but not too scary for first-timers. You will want to bring your friends and family for epic rapids such as Pinball, Zoom Flume, and Big Drop!

We decided to do a rafting adventure on our vacation. We found The Adventure Company and booked a half day trip to Browns Canyon. I can’t say enough good things about The Adventure Company. Our guide Drew was awesome! I talked to guides Tim and Dennison, they were awesome too. They are very knowledgeable and give you little history lessons about the area and the river. None of our group had any experience rafting, we were given detailed instructions on paddling and safety instructions in case you become a “swimmer”. We chose the intermediate difficulty and I would recommend this to any skill level. I highly recommend The Adventure Company, you won’t be disappointed. Thank you Drew and The Adventure Company staff for a great day!

With Denison as our guide we had a blast!! He knew every move we should make on the river to have a safe and exciting trip down the river. Also a couple of people on our raft changed their mind about going and Denison walked them back up to the bus and ensured they could get a ride back to their car. Also Kathy the bus driver was such a sweet little lady, even gave us recommendation of activities to check out in the area!!
