Our family of 5 (with adult children) took the Canyon Wave trip with New Wave Adventures in July. This rafting company is top notch! They provided us with dry suits, helmets and shoes. Our guide Bryce was the best! We had such a fun group, our family of 5 and a family of 3 from Ireland. Bryce was encouraging and fun! The rapids did not disappoint and the scenery was incredible! A good time was had by all! I would highly recommend New Wave and Bryce!

CANYON WAVE deserves ten stars! I've been whitewater rafting in WY once before booking this trip with New Wave. Having enjoyed the thrill of whitewater rafting in the past, I knew it was something my parents and sister had to experience, especially in Alaska. From start to finish, New Wave, I could tell, was going to top my previous experience x 10. The waves alone I knew were going to be incredible, but the views around Denali National Park can't be topped. Drew & "Tommy Salami" were hilarious and professional the entire trip. As a unit of four, my fam was super excited we were put in a raft together with Drew. I rarely write reviews, but Drew deserves an addition to his 5-star review streak. His confidence on the water and 200+ trips made us feel prepared and safe on the trip. Drew's sense of humor also made the entire experience. My dad, who is typically risk-averse and 57, initially was nervous. I booked the trip once he heard about the rapids. Drew was great with my dad, and after the trip, my dad said anything less than the rapids he experienced would have been boring. A huge success in my book! When I get the chance to come back to Alaska, I will do this trip again!

The trip was fantastic and our guide Tom was wonderful! We will definitely be back when we have visitors again
