We wanted to do something that represented AZ when our daughter visited from SF, this tour fit the bill. (Bring your drivers license, reservation credit card and I recommend gloves). They run a TON of people through - we went on a Wednesday - it was handled well and didn't feel like a cattle call - all their people were knowledgeable and helpful! The first hour is preparation; They will provide a head sock, and fit you with a helmet and goggles. Next is a brief overview of how to ride the ATV (ask questions if you need to, because you really want to understand how to shift up and down during the 2 hour ride). We were assigned an ATV and pointed to the practice area- this is two areas that represent the kind of terrain you will ride on... up hill, down hill, rocky terrain and slippery dirt. (Each of us had a moment when we thought maybe this was above our skill level) take another run around the practice course if you need to find your confidence! This is a ride you will remember- not a sedate sight seeing tour- the desert where the trails are is pretty and you'll stop a few times to take pics. When we were done, we had a late lunch at Roadrunner Restaraunt & Saloon in New River to complete the vibe! Fun day!
