We were a bit disappointed, as they promised (a street seller) to step on Liberty Island and than we were cruising around the statue. Also we had to change the ticket bought on the street. This meant we had to wait two hours for a place on the boat. Anyway, we got a nice view.

We are a family of six and did the circle cruise as part of the big bus tour. Well.everything was going good until Malachy began to speak. Instead of being really informative about the tour, we heard his life story, a part time actor, he wrote a book, he fought with the navy, sings, and part time comedian. His joke about the Colgate clock was sick. To make matters worse, he kept saying he was about to finish talking but just kept going. What a dose.

I had friends come in from Finland. There was a language barrier and problems with arriving on time for our original cruise. I approached one of the employees, Tyreese. Told him of our problem. He happily helped! (Fantastic person!) and in no time at all we were able to take a very nice cruise around the Statue of Liberty! We ended up having a fantastic time!
