This is an awesome experience, made that much better by Zac's personality and in depth knowledge of both the wildlife and the area. There are plenty of photo opportunity stops as well as a snack stop. The jeeps are well maintained and fun to drive and everyone gets a turn. As always with Alaskan excursions, wildlife is optional. But we had a 4yr old or so moose decide to show himself and pose for photos, which was a definite highlight. Highly recommended!

The weather would get zero stars but Zac did a great job leading the tour and even though it was rainy and overcast we still enjoyed the excursion and got several cool pics. My husband and I enjoyed getting to know Zac. It would have been great if it was sunny and we saw lots of wildlife but we still felt the excursion was a positive experience. My husband enjoyed driving the Jeep. I think we had 6 or 7 Jeeps on our tour. There were several times when 2-3 Jeeps wanted to stop for pictures - Zac was more than happy to stop. Would recommend this excursion.

We were very disappointed in this excursion. Of course, a company cannot guarantee views of wildlife nor do they control the weather, but we saw nothing on our outing. It was fun to drive the jeep and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, but it was just driving on the bumpy, old Denali Highway for 100 miles with little to no views because it was so overcast. In situations like this, it feels like a partial refund would be prudent because this isn't a cheap excursion and we basically wasted 6 hours. I very much regretted not going through Denali National Park on the bus instead of doing this excursion. It could be that this tour is completely worthwhile in July when the weather is better and the hunters aren't out in full force running the animals off.
