Not at all as advertised, saw no wildlife except a swan far out. It was just a lot of riding on the highway & then a bumpy pothole ridden long ride. I thought we would have been taken an off road beaten path, instead of driving on a regular public road. The scenery was nothing out of the ordinary, same what you could see by visually looking around in the Denali area. Our tour guide Tara was very friendly & personable.

This was the first excursion on our recent 14-day Alaska Land and Sea Tour. And what a way to start! Zac and Austin were fantastic! Beautiful scenery and several wildlife species spotted. Very nice. Highly recommend this excursion.

This was probably one of our least favourite excursions in Denali, but it was not the company's fault. Our tour was scheduled on a very overcast day, so not only could we not see Denali, we could not even see the close-by Alaska Range mountains for most of our outing. In addition, it was hunting season so there were a lot of ATVs, which we think affected the wildlife sightings; we saw one hare and one duck! So our particular outing was pretty much a bust: no wildlife and no scenery. On the positive side, our guide, Tara, was friendly and very willing to tailor our outing to our preferences, as we were the only two customers that morning. My husband greatly enjoyed the opportunity to drive the jeep, especially after having been a passenger for the past 11 days! We do get to say that we drove on the historic Denali highway, so the bragging rights are on the plus side. Had the weather been better, so too would have been our experience.
