I had bought a voucher at a fundraiser for the GoGar tour last year. My son was in town visiting and thought this would be a great time to use it. Plus it was forecasted to be a beautiful day in San Francisco. This was great fun! Even though we have lived here for 3 and a half years now we still got a lot out of it. I highly recommend this fun tour.

My sister-in-law, who lives in CA, suggested we go drive "go carts" through the streets of San Francisco. I thought she was a little crazy. But then we looked at the website videos, and thought it sounded fun. The six of us took 3 cars through San Francisco, down Lombard Street, over to the Golden Gate bridge and Chrissy Park. Our boys are 13 and 16, and their cousin is 14, so this was really so much fun for them! The navigation system is excellent. If you can drive a car, you can do this. People were considerate as we drove through the city streets, and knew we were trying to stay together as a group. It was safer than you'd imagine. Yes, you're driving through traffic, but it was mid-day on a weekday, so really not dangerous. Helmets are a little heavy, but fine. We stopped and took pictures all along the way, and really loved this experience! Unforgettable.

Forrest and Ray were awesome and let me tell y'all why. We were originally scheduled to take a tour at 9:15 in the morning but I feel sick in the morning. When we called they let us reschedule for the afternoon in the hopes I would feel better. This was phenomenal service. I recovered and we were able to take the tour in the afternoon. Forrest helped us with our helmets and walked us through the vehicle even after the video which was great. The hands on and personal touch helps me remember when dealing with an individual vehicle. He also went over the route with us and recommended a short cut so we would make it back in an hour during the rush hour. Now a question we didn't ask is if you decide to park do you park in a regular spot or a motorcycle spot? It didn't matter in our case because we never stopped. It was entirley too much fun. We've seen some aggasive dring in the city but it felt like people knew we were tourist and they were leanent. We were asked twice where we scored the cool ride. The gps was friendly to use except for the options you recieve on Hyde st. The street block is too short to hear both options. Now as the video explains there is no Reverse option so when we returned Ray guided us into a parking spot which as a postal carrier I really appreciated.
