Our private full-day hike is ideal for those looking for an active adventure in Grand Canyon National Park. This Hike can be enjoyed by guests who are fit and active. We start with an introductory viewpoint, and then into the Canyon for a fully-narrated day on the trail. Guides share their intimate knowledge of local geology, flora, fauna, biology, and history. Trail selection depends on the physical ability of the small group. Available trails: South Kaibab, Hermit, Bright Angel, or Grandview Trail.

We strive to provide everything you need to have a great day hiking. This includes lunch, snacks, water & beverages, and gear such as hiking poles, backpacks, and micro-spikes (when icy). We include transportation from all hotels, hostels, campgrounds, and many Air B&Bs in Flagstaff, Williams, Tusayan, and Grand Canyon. Pickup and drop-off times depend on your stay place!

We did the beginner Grand Canyon day hike. Ben was the best tour guide! He was prompt, he’s patient, friendly, knowledgeable and kept all of us safe at all times. We travelled with our two adult children. I recommend this tour without any reservation. We had an absolutely wonderful day exploring the Grand Canyon with Ben’s expertise guiding us. He even made our “picnic lunch” very special! I’m so grateful we did this tour instead of on our own - we wouldn’t have seen and learned all that we did that day. It wouldn’t have been near the same experience - Ben made our day amazing!

Wow, did we have a fabulous day! Ben made the hike easy for us with encouragement, easy conversation and wonderful historical and botanical lessons. The lunch was over the top, as was the sunset wine and cheese. My husband had done this hike 40 years ago and I had attempted it 10 years ago but bailed as I was scared of heights. Ben set my fears at rest and my husband learned so much more from this trip. My young adult kids had a fabulous time. The trip offered great value and was a ton of fun. Whatever your ability and desire for the experience, All Star Tours will customize it for you.

Ben, thank you so much. My family booked a private tour with him last week. My younger brother was having a difficult time up the canyon (going down was a breeze for him). Ben was right there alongside him every step of the way. Very grateful for his patience and willingness to motivate my brother to keep going. In addition, the company offered so many snacks and beverages. Their lunch was very hearty and delicious. Hats off to the chef! Very impressed with the entire experience. I had the best time with Ben as our guide. Won't visit the Grand Canyon without these guys!

Thanks Adrian, I had a great time with you guys! It was amazing what a great attitude your brother had during the struggle, he is a really nice kid and I wish the three of you guys the best. I hope to be able to bring you guys backpacking through the Grand Canyon in the future.
