best train ride and destination we have done so far. didnt think the durango-silverton could be topped, but GCRR did it.we have traveled on several smaller rr trains, as well, which were fun, but GCRR blows them away! lady narrated some very interesting local history that i had never heard before, and all the employees were very helpful and friendly. we are on mobility scooters, and they helped load and unload us, as well. don't miss Shorty's roping... he is really good! definitely worth the trip!

The railway took away the stress of parking and long lines to get it. You can just sit back and take in amazing landscape views. The railway did a great job of keeping you entertained during the ride their and back.

This train trip was wonderful! The trip to the Grand Canyon tickets had us in the Luxury Parlor which is the caboose. Our hostess was phenomenal! She had so many great stories to share with us before we reached the Grand Canyon. The trip is a little over 2 hours. She makes a great Bloody Mary! We also added the Freedom tour which was perfect for us seeing the highlights of the Grand Canyon for when we drove ourselves to the Canyon the following day. The return trip had us in the Luxury Dome. We ended up with seat mates who are fellow Texans, and they had also been in the Parlor on the morning trip. We had so much fun with them on the return trip, and we also enjoyed our host and hostess on that return trip. If Craig and Dulce see this, thanks so much for your company on the return trip! I highly recommend taking this train trip!
