On 4/30/2011 I had the wonderful experience of seeng Orca Whales. It was early in the season and there were only 7 of us on the boat (other than the crew) Eclipse Charters went OUT OF THEIR way to find us Whales. There were at least 10 Whales that we got to watch for quite some time. The Captain took us all the way to Canada to find the Whales and we were very thankful for his comittment. The naturalist on board was very friendly and educated. I learned quite a bit. The boat was very comfortable, and they provided us with binoculars, rain coats if we needed it (luckily we didn't), heat in the cabin, books, maps, refreshments and snacks. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants to see whales. Everyone was friendly and educated. They exceeded my expectations

I recommend Captain Dan and his lovely wife, owners of Eclipse Charters. They were friendly, knowledgeable and of course they knew where the whales were. May is not an easy time of year to view the whales and they did a great job. I have to compliment Mrs. Captain Dan. She provided us with hiking information and gave us the insight on local tales. If you a reading this -THANK YOU. Without your help we would have never found the Turtle Head Trail and it was Great. We went to the top - What a hike and what a view. AGAIN, we made a great decision and recomment Eclipse Charters to everyone.

Today we went to orcas to see the whales.. as we arrived we got a ticket from another woman .. she has one left cuz her husband got sick.. as the sales lady saw it..she started to yell in a really rude way at the lady who gave us the ticket and at us!! she didnt show any respect in front of the lil children around! after a conversation with the company owner.. they allowed us to take the ticket.. on the boat we got seated inside.. my friend just asked a questions.. and the woman from the crew yelled at her.. that she HAS TO SIT DOWN RIGHT NOW.. so we had a really bad impression.. cuz both situatrion could have been handled in a nice way!! anyways.. weve seen lots of whales.. breaching right in front of us.. it was great..!!
