A really good tour, even though it was raining our driver and tour guide Willie made it so enjoyable.
We saw all the main sites including the Peabody ducks, the hotel where Dr Martin Luther King was assassinated and Sun studios.
The riverboat trip was very good, but Willie was a fun and highly entertaining guide and made us forget the weather.

City tour very informative and great guide. Slightly disappointed with river cruise commentary but interesting just the same.

This is our sixth Viator Tour in three years. All previous tours were top notch and definitely 5 stars. This tour started out questionable with the tour guide picking us up 20 minutes late from the hotel. From the hotel we went to the Visitors Center where we got out of our bus for about 10 minutes to look around and then put on a different bus crammed with more people. It's all about efficiencies. The new tour guide was was not entertaining and even less informative. I lost count of how many times she told us about the Cotton Exchange as we drove by and where the dirty and clean cotton were stored downtown during the early 1900s. That seemed to be all the tour guide knew. Drove 2 blocks away from the Lorraine Hotel. If you pull out your binoculars and look between those two cars you can see where MLK was shot. Took us to Beale street for almost two hours to drop us off for lunch and for us to look around. Once again late in picking us up so we had to wait in the hot Memphis sun during the middle of the day. Passed by where they stored the cotton which was pointed out Again!! and dropped us off at the Riverboat Cruise.. Cruise was very informative and entertaining. Not one mention of cotton storage. Got back on the bus to be dropped off at our hotel. On our way back to hotel....Wait...don't tell me, I beg you don't tell me...could that be where they stored the cotton again at the Cotton Exchange? Arrrrgh!! I honestly started looking around to see if we were being punked. The highlight of the tour was not the Cotton Exchange as one might think. It was St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Beautiful gardens and great history All in all a very disappointed in the tour. Come on Viator you are better than this. But if you are interested in hearing over and over about the storing of cotton at the Cotton Exchange ad nauseum this is the tour for you!!
