This private tour was wonderful, our tour guide Sam had such personality and knowledge of the city. We always enjoy city tours to learn the history and Sam has all the info. We saw several areas of Memphis via the bus and stopped a 2 for a short self exploration. Our second portion was the Riverboat, weather was wonderful, snack/drink bar available on the boat. Guide informed us of additional information we were unaware of in reference to the River itself. Great day, good tours and wonderful city, glad i got to experience it.

This tour was disorganized because we boarded three different buses. One bus from the hotel to the ticket station, another bus to St.Jude's Hospital and the Peabody Hotel and a third bus to the Riverboat. Our first driver was OK, but the woman driver was terrible. She was rude to the passemgers -demanding we return in 15 min. when we stopped at St.Jude's. She sai she needed a break. She spoke to us as if we were children and could not understand what she was saying. It was as if she was doing us a favor by giving the tour. She did not give clear directions when we were dropped off on Beale St. She was irritated when we could not see where she was to pick us up after we had lunch. When we returned to the bus from lunch, she didn't speak as we boarded. There were 6 people on the bus.We did get to see the ducks in the Peabody Hotel. This was the best part of the trip.
The Riverboat Cruise was OK. The narrator added some of his humor when describing sights along the Mississippi and it seemd to be inappropriate. At the end of the cruise, he announced he would gladly accept tips and had his hat out when we left the boat. I found this to be appaling. Who does this?
If the drivers had been polished and the buses organized, I would take the trip again.

Good tour but did not tour any of the neighborhoods to see some of the homes. The tour description leaves a lot to be desired, like where are you taken, how long is each part, the fact that you get dropped off on Beale St for lunch which was OK, that you get to see the Peabody ducks come out at 11 we were planning to go after the tour.
