Half Day rafting trips on the Lower Animas are incredibly popular for busy schedules. You'll get a couple hours on the water with the best rapid sections.

There were so many reasons that we could have bailed out- it rained, it hailed, we got stuck on rocks but in the strong, capable hands of professional guide Nikki, no one opted out. I would choose this company again based on the quality of their personnel. Nikki is not only a professional river runner, she is an EMT. I felt so comfortable! She knew that river and was fun to talk to. Double thumbs up from Will and Teri.

This was a first time experience for me and my 17 year old son. It was thrilling, relaxing and entertaining by turns. We always felt safe with our guide, even when we got stuck on rocks! LOL

I take a group to Durango every year and always include a rafting trip with Mild to Wild. Everyone is great! The raft guides are always helpful and fun. Easy to book--great prices. I highly recommend this for your next visit to Durango.
