If you are looking for a half day hiking adventure into the Grand Canyon, this trip is amazing! We were able to get away from the crowds and enjoy the peaceful serenity that the Grand Canyon has to offer. Our views were spectacular. Our guide, Jon, was very experienced and skilled. All you need are your good hiking shoes. Jon provided the rest. I can’t leave out commenting on the yummy snacks and lunch that he provided.

We planned our Arizona spring break trip around our hike with Canyon Jon and it did not disappoint! The family is new to hiking so it was a blessing to embark on our half day trip with an experienced guide who had everything we needed and tons of knowledge about the canyon and trails. From when to arrive, to where to park, to what gear to wear, when to wear it, food, water and best picture spots, Jon knows it all. I would absolutely recommend this tour for those looking for an in-depth Grand Canyon experience.

Jon was the most excellent guide ever! Would not have wanted to see the Grand Canyon any other way! He was patient with our group, going at our own speed. The lunch and snacks were delicious. We felt very comfortable and safe with him. He took the most amazing pictures of our family and had all the gear we needed-poles, crampons, backpacks!
