I took the classic SF bike tour on pedaled bikes (no E-bike). This was a great tour. Josh was the tour guide, but he was training 2 additional guides so we had the benefit of 3 guides on the trip. The staff on check-in were friendly, and the bikes were in good shape - 7 speed upright handlebars, very adequate for our ride. We toured through the Farmer's Market, stopping for snacks, then pedaled on through may of the notable areas of San Francisco. There were frequent stops to admire architecture, learn about the city, or get snacks. The pace was perfect, not rushed at all. Josh was knowledgeable throughout the tour and clearly loves his city. We finished around 1:30, and he provided suggestions for lunch spots nearby. I am a regular cyclist, so the distances covered were easy for me. Someone who never rides a bike might want to opt for the e-bike tour, but anyone who can sit on a bike for a few hours can manage this tour. I love touring cities on a bike as a way to get the pulse of the city. I recommend this tour highly. It really provided a great view of San Francisco.

It's an incredible way to get familiarised with the city whilst learning all about how San Francisco came to be what it is today. Josh was an excellent guide who was bursting with passion and pride, you could really tell that he loved SF and wanted to share his knowledge with the group. He did a great job of entertaining and educating the whole group, as well as expertly answering any questions we had for him. The bike route isn't too tough with plenty of breaks, you just need to keep an eye out for traffic! I'd do this again in a heartbeat!

This was probably one of the best tours I have ever participated in my life. More than 4 hours of tour and I could not feel the time moving !! John is a great guide, so great that I felt I was hanging arround with friends instead of joying a “comercial” tour. I learnt A LOT about San Francisco history and nowadays lifestyle. I consider myself a picky person, which means I am very critical with comercial tours... this one I really enjoyed, probably because it has nothing to do with comerce. John and the other guide who joined us are passionate!
