Had an absolutely amazing time exploring Chelsea with Hidden NYC! Matt, our tour guide, is an expert in the history of the restaurants we went to, and was incredibly friendly as well. All of the food stops were delicious and different from each other, giving a good diverse sample of what Chelsea has to offer. An amazing relaxed and delicious way to spend an afternoon!

If you like food and New York history in a comfortable, unrushed, informative tour, this is the tour for you. Matt is very knowledgeable about NYC history and he knows how to find great food. Seriously, everything we tried was delicious. The proprietors were friendly and welcoming. The restaurants on the tour were unusual and offered a wide variety of NYC food. My only advice would be to pace yourself food wise. Don't worry, you wo t leave hungry.

If you love history and food like I do, this is the tour for you. It feeds the mind and the body leaving both feeling pleasantly full. It is easy to find the obvious monument in NYC, but this tour reveals the history that could be easily overlooked. It is also an excellent opportunity to open conversation between the participants eliminating the usual awkward “getting to know each other” time as you discuss the history. The restaurants chosen have excellent food and comfortable environments that allow one to enjoy the company and the great food. Some tours leaving you wanting more, but not this one. It had more than enough food to allow you to feel like you had a meal and I now have some new go-to places to eat. I don't want to ruin the surprise, but you will be very happy with the first stop. It is a place you could easily overlook if you didn't have such an excellent guide who has done his research. I can't say enough good things about Matt and the quality of the tour he has put together. You can expect an extremely friendly, caring guide who has a true love for what he is doing and goes above and beyond to ensure you have a wonderful time. Please, don't miss out on this excellent opportunity.
