My wife and I went on the tour yesterday and had a wonderful time. We saw so many locations that we would have missed on our own. We saw the walk of fame the Hollywood sign many movie stars homes, it was wonderful. Thanks open bus tours Lawrence

So this is actually a really funny story. The whole thing top to bottom is just one giant LOL. We booked for the open bus tour with expectations to be shown around the hills.. See the sights get some good info - just a good laugh. It’s ten minutes after the bus was supposed to leave and we are still waiting for other customers. That for us was strike 1.. those of us on time have places to be. Then strike 2 was the drivers attitude & demeanour. I felt like he was taking his stand up routine out on us you know? Like, we did not sign up for the comedy tour with special verbal abuse on the side - he should go work at Dicks Last Resort. Strike 3: the best for last.. So LOH finally calms down because everyone on the bus is frowning and the bus stalls out.. great! That wasn’t even the scariest part. What scared us and made us want to evacuate was that he rang his boss and said: ‘the bus just stalled out ... should I keep driving?’ .. AND HIS BOSS TOLD HIM TO KEEP GOING! They did not consult us, the passengers. It was unsettling and unprofessional. So now we are 30 minutes late for this tour, the van has completely given up and a new van is scheduled to come get us and finish the tour. So far, nothing said to the group about our options nada. Everyone’s just sitting there looking dumbfounded - I’m not even exaggerating it was mental. We did not opt for the rest of the tour - tbh we did not feel safe. They did give us our money back (some people make it difficult so least they were understanding about that). All in all I’m writing this to share with you some pretty wild and hilarious turn of events. Yes I do feel like certain elements were handled poorly enough to merit a negative review - I hope in context you see why I rated it so low. Book at your own risk! Would not recommend just on principle - they should have managed it with a lot more professional instinct. P.S - Evidentiary support attached (ie. funny pic of my husband and I legit sitting on the side of the busy road next to the dead van)

We took a group on the tour and weren't really sure what to expect. Our guide, Louie Louie, put us at ease right away and off we went. We really enjoyed roaming around Hollywood, but what really made it fun - and better than if we had just driven around ourselves - was our tour guide. Louie Louie was the man! His quick wit, joking humor, and spot-on impressions kept us laughing and enjoying the entire trip. We think we might do it again when we have the chance...maybe bring some more friends with us. Thanks for the great time, Louie...Louie!
