We took the guided open bus tour on Hollywood Boulevard. On tripadvisor we saw the price of 30$, but on the street they had an asking price of 50$. The guy who gived us the flyer, said that for us he would made a special deal, 2 for 1 or halfprice; so 25$ pp. We accepted and after half an hour the bus started his tour, but after half a mile he stopped to take clients from another agency, so that the bus was complete with 14 people on board.Then he drove as a fool through the hills of Hollywood and Beverly Hills to show us the homesof the Hollywood famous ones. Saying ont the left you see the house of actor X and at right lives producer Y and there in the distance you can see the roof of singer Z. But he drove so fast that he could have told what he wanted, because we had no chance to recognize the homes he mentionned. With ou hair in the wind finally it became a little bit calmly, driving between the houses and parks in Beverly Hills. Finally we arrived in downtown LA, where we made a tour through the most important streets such as Sunset boulevard and Rodeo Drive. At last we arrived back on the start at Hollywood boulevard after 1h30, there where they had announced a 2-hour during tour. Pithy detail; after the tour, walking on the H. Blvd a guy would sell us the same kind of tour for a special price: !!! 20 $ pp?? So after reading this, you know what to do: negtiate your price! and try different sellers. We are satisfied to have seen it, but will not return for this open bus tour.

We had wanted to do a tour of the key sights in LA and in particular to get to see the stars homes in the Hollywood hills.. based on trip advisor reviews we chose this tour company rather than one of the other myriad of providers you can see touting for business on the boulevard. You can pick up a ticket from the shop on the boulevard, there are toilets that you can use in the shop prior to your tour - mentioning this because there is not a lot of options when you are on the tour. The bus was funky and well maintained, clean and tidy also. The driver was great, funny, pleasant and knowledgeable. The tour took us along the main sights and was a great experience including allowing us time to stop at various points for photos such as that of the Hollywood sign. I would definitely recommend taking a tour with these guys.

Hal, Mary, Jane and martha went on the tour and Shay(spelling) was great. friendly, humorous, and seemed to enjoy his job. We had a great time, and would recommend to anyone. Shay was wrong about Hollywood High School, as he told us all the people painted on the building went there. Not true Shay,ha ha, as Elvis went to Humes in Memphis, and Bruce Lee did not either. I hope he laughs when he reads this, and remembers the North Carolina guests. Super, Super tour. Katy Perry, Stallone, Ja Lo, Pacino, were just a few of the homes that Shay knew all about. thanks so much!Plus he knew the value of the homes, cars, just a fun time.
