Took the tour yesterday with the tour guide Gary. WHAT a great and fun time we had! Growing up in Laurel Canyon, we kids knew all of the old timers, so when I asked a tour guide (while parked at a scenic overlook) if he knew who lived in a certain house, and mentioned Erroll Flynn, he looked at me and said, "Well Justin Timberlake lives there now." I was impressed! That was our introduction to this tour bus. We quickly drove down to Hollywood Boulevard and my friends and I were off on a grand adventure. Gary took us up to the "bird streets' high over the Sunset Strip and he knew his stuff!! We had an absolute gas. The afternoon flew by. We saw Keanu Reeves, Mariah Carey, He was gracious enough to stop in front of the house I grew up in - and allow me to point out the house where James Dean rehearsed his staircase scene in Rebel Without A Cause, the house where Davey Jones of the Monkees lived, Howard Hughes' ex-wife, Jean Peters, etc. In turn, he informed me that the house whose guest house I lived in for 2 years, was the center piece for the tv show "The Hills" - I think that somebody needs to do a tour blending the old and the new. Would be an amazing tour! WE HAD A GAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our tour guide, Shay, was very interactive with the tour members, making the experience that much more engaging. We didn't get to see all of the popular spots because of the fact that it was so late at night, but Shay didn't see that as an obstacle. We were shown cool city sights that I didn't even know existed. I would definitely travel on this bus tour again!

Our host Lawrence did a very good job to make a connection with all on the bus, learn their names and try to make it a memorable experience for all. The coach is okay in regards to comfort, its smaller size makes it better then a full size bus. Can get very breezy and windy hence highly recommend bring the proper attire especially if the weather is under 70degrees. Only reason not scoring the tour higher is we started approx. 45mins later then the posted time. It appears there is a desire to wait until the bus is full perhaps, but waiting that much extra time is not a good management of time. Lets have the bus start just like movies do, on time ! That will help rank this tour higher in ratings. Would recommend the tours to others, the just over 2 hours actual tour is just the right time to be on a bus.
