This tour is $238 per person, the only thing you do there is sit and wait for 7 hours, the host kept talking very loud for the whole time. My ears hurt. It was toooooooo noisy. He scared all fish away! They said they will cook the fish for lunch, the “ lunch” tastes awful. He put the plates on trash cans and touch the fish after cleaning the fish. It was so gross!. The pick up ride is late for 40 mins. Definitely don’t go, the worst tour I have gone.

Hi Lylay430, Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback on your recent Ice Fishing Tour. Our Ice Fishing Tour is a 7 hour tour taking place from 11am to 6pm. We did apologize for the delay on your pick up and explained that we can have unforeseen delays due to other pick-ups and, as was the case on your tour date, very icy road conditions. This tour takes place out on a lake where you can stay warm inside of a heated hut. While you are fishing, the ice fishing guide offers to cook up any fish that is caught so that guests can taste the fish they are catching. Our cooked fish snack is simply that, a snack and unfortunately we are not able to guarantee that the fish will be to your taste. The set up in the ice hut is rustic, a building with no running water designed for fishing. Our guides strive to provide guests with an interactive, fun, entertaining and informative tour. While out on tour, you requested an early return back to your hotel. For such a short notice request, our Ice Fishing guide tried everything to accommodate you and returned you to your hotel before the 6pm end time of the tour. For a tour like Ice Fishing, we want our guests to have the correct expectations for this activity - first and foremost, it is a fishing tour. The main activity is trying to catch fish while sitting or standing around a hole in the ice. We understand this type of tour is not for everyone, but we do feel we portray this activity accurately on our website and other booking platforms. Again, we apologize for the delays in your pick ups and hope you enjoyed your time in Alaska.
