Went on the 6 hour morning tour. Saw a variety of wildlife: sea otters, sea lions, mountain goats, lots of birds including puffins and a couple of eagles feeding as well as a couple of whales. The tidewater glacier we visited was spectacular and we saw it calve several times. Lunch consisted of a chicken wrap with a vegetarian option available. Wrap could have been better as it was filled with mostly lettuce with a small amount of chicken. Besides the wrap the lunch consisted of chips and a granola bar, plus there were apples available. On the way back to Seward we heard about the history of the area which was interesting and informative.

Enjoyed the spectacular scenery and appreciated the skill and narration of the captain. We saw rock formations, waterfalls, birds, seals, whales and spent time watching for the glacier calving, and it did. The captain recommend a coffee based drink called the "dirty otter", we enjoyed it and our server. There was great viewing from inside as well as viewing decks on the outside.

8/27/2018, the entire crew of the Glacier Express were absolutely phenomenal! We saw otters, sea birds, a black bear on one of the islands & a humpback whale!! We got see the glacier calving which was so spectacular! They served Prime rib for lunch! The crew even took care of the passengers who got seasick. Again, awesome trip.
