This tour will take guests through 4 unique communities in North San Diego County; Del Mar, Solana Beach, Cardiff By-The-Sea, and Encinitas. This tour is unique because we will be able to cover nearly 15 miles in 2.5 hours on capable and easy-to-use electric bike. All of our bikes have different levels of pedal assist, as well as different options for using a throttle.

We have bikes suitable for riders 5'0" and taller, but we also have options for children! We have two (2) Rad Power Radwagon cargo bikes which have seats for up to two children. Additionally, we have child seats for children up to 45 pounds that can be installed on our electric bikes.

Our tour guides have extensive knowledge of the North County area about local cuisine, beer and wine options, artisans, art galleries, local surf spots, and so much more. If you have something that you are dying to see, do, or learn about in the area, please ask us!

Please note that much of the riding will be on street or in bike lanes

À quoi s'attendre
1
Self Realization Fellowship Hermitage & Meditation Gardens
We will stop at the beautiful and historical meditation gardens founded in 1938 but Paramahansa Yogananda. We will be able to walk through the gardens if desired! Edit; due to the Covid-19 pandemic we are unable to go into the gardens but will resume our walks through the gardens as soon as possible. In the meantime we will stop at the border of this property to enjoy the stunning views of the Pacific Ocean.
2
Del Mar Race Track
The Del Mar Racetrack has been the central hub of Del Mar since it's inception by Bing Crosby in 1936. The fairgrounds have hosted the Del Mar Fair (aka San Diego County Fair), thoroughbred horse races, and for two years during WWII the Del Mar Racetrack was closed to use the space to construct parts for B-17 Bombers.
3
San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve
This lagoon is one of San Diego’s largest wetland at 979-acres. This ecological reserve is primarily a shallow-water estuary, formed where the Escondido and La Orilla Creeks meet the Pacific Ocean. I love showing guests this portion of the tour at the lowest or highest tides, as they can come back 6 hours later to see how different the reserve looks with the tidal differences.
4
Fletcher Cove Park
Fletcher Cover Park is a local's secret for basketball, beach access, and a playground for kids. There is also a lifeguard station here and a ramp for easy access to the water. Public restrooms and showers here make this a perfect spot for a family beach day. Around Christmas time they also put up a beautiful Christmas Tree with ornaments for everyone to see and enjoy.
5
Moonlight State Beach
Moonlight State Beach is a huge attraction for families. With firepits, volleyball courts, plenty of sand, and a concession stand for snacks, there is something for EVERYONE. We will take you right past it so you know where to go cool off after the tour with a dip in the ocean.

I would recommend this trip as one of the best things you can do in the San Diego area. You see places you’ll never get to experience by car. We learned so much about the area and I had the most fun w my girls in years!

Thank you so much for your kind words! We have worked really hard to make our electric bike tours stand out as a highlight for people when you come visit. Exploring on Electric Bikes in North County San Diego is the best way to see the sights and explore the towns along the way. We hope to see you back here sometime soon!

We did this early on our vacation and it was a great way to see the surrounding area and beaches. Our guide gave us many ideas of places to return for further explanation as well as restaurant options. Great company and service with fast responses. Highly recommend!

We had a great tour with Justin. He showed us a lot of highlights in the area with bits of trivia that are always fun. This type of tour is a great way to cover lots of ground in a limited time. The eBike was a great ride … easy to operate, responsive, comfortable… and Justin is super safety conscious, which considering all the traffic, was very helpful! Let’s have donuts next time!!! :)
