Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

The absolute best experience! The drinks were amazing, food was good, and entertainment was the best!! So many great workers, they were all nice and helpful, the show was so worth it!

The show was amazing, especially fire dancers. We opted for transportation to and from the Laua, and due to traffic we went straight to the train and didn’t have time to look around the grounds. The train ride was not what we expected. It included a stop where guest and children could pet and feed the cows, horses, and pigs. Many guests seemed to enjoy this, but it wasn’t for us. We went straight from the train to the laua,, and it was a bit rushed. The food was good, and the rest of the evening was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this, but skip the train ride.
