Welcoming guests to Kauai since 2007, Luau Kalamaku is Hawaii's only luau show performed “in-the-round,” offering optimal views of the stage. Witness the unearthing of the pig from the traditional imu (underground oven) and enjoy a hula lesson. A craft fair featuring unique items by local artisans awaits on the sprawling lawn. Feast on a delicious buffet of local and familiar favorites and enjoy a Mai Tai from the open bar. The main show tells the amazing story of the ancient Hawaiian legend of Kalamaku “child of the new land." Through laughter, fear, seduction and fire, a new legacy is created, born from the cherished seeds of their ancestors. The theatrical luau show culminates with a fantastic fire dream featuring fire poi balls and traditional fire knife dancing.

The food was not good. They did cook a very small pig and allowed people to have a small piece of it when they pulled it up from the ground. That was good but it is not what they served at dinner. The pork they served was horrible. The show would have been nice if I was able to see it. This is a commercial luau and there were so many people it was hard to see anything because of how the stage is setup. They have you show up hours early so you will buy stuff from them and the vendors they have setup. They advertise all you can drink but neglect to mention there are only a few types of drinks they offer. Overall I would have preferred to sit down at a nice meal then spend the ridiculous amount of money they charged for this.

A great experience! Food, drink and entertainment were great! A few vendors with great items to purchase. Food is good and endless drinks aren't a bad thing.

Beautiful luau - large venue with a lot of people in attendance. Food was good but not out for very long. Story of the luau was a little hard to follow but was interesting. Worth seeing.
