A lot of reviews seemed to be really critical of the process. However my wife and I were very impressed. We had a great server and bus staff that were impressively professional, fun to interact with and provided a memorable dinner service. The meal was tasty and in four courses. Each course has two options so my wife and I ordered each and we were able to try everything. We were seated promptly at 1710 for dinner, and at 1905 on the dot as promised we were escorted by an actor and torch to the lauau. They gave us great seats tight to the stage. They also let us know bar was unlimited until 1930 so we had 30 minutes (pro tip: they only serve one person one drink per trip, so load up between 1900 and 1930). The presentation was right around an hour and was full of dancing, singing, and an impressive fire dance. Parking is escorted and they do this a couple times a week and it is all dialed in. If you're a quieter person and not as excited about buffet lines and big crowds the plantation dinner is a nice upgrade. Perhaps the other reviewers had an off night, but we honestly thought it was effortless. We did arrive an hour early and the shops do not tske very long...so i woild recommend arriving 1615-1630.
