I’m going to start off with saying this was the worst experience we had in maui, The instructor rick was a little pushy and not as patient as they make it seem gabriela was also there as an assistant but was always far from us with experienced divers, as we were entering the water and starting to go down rick was a little pushy and impatient and didn’t let my s/o equalize and just kept dragging us both down deeper and deeper as if we didn’t have a saying we just had to adapt and learn extremely quick, if you are not a fast learner this is definitely not for you as they just expect you to do everything quick , rick didn’t let my s/o equalize and caused her to have extreme pain in her ears which ruined the whole trip because it lasted the entire time we were there, as rick was pulling us down my s/o was signaling that she had to go back up to the surface because there was water in her eyes, her ears were in so much pain, and she was having trouble breathing, rick didn’t do much up until i came in and had to help her myself, when she came up she was gasping for air because of how fast rick was taking her deeper and deeper, the whole experience wasn’t the best and ruined the whole day, definitely don’t recommend if you aren’t a fast learner

I don’t recommend going if you aren’t a fast learner, rick was our instructor ,Rick didn’t give my s/o time to equalize which made her panic and almost drown she had extreme pain in her ear, we had to end off super early as gabriela told us we had to be done, as my s/o was giving hand signal to go up the instructor didn’t really listen and i had to come in to help, the lesson wasn’t much of a lesson more of a this is what you’re going to do and they kinda just throw you in there, wouldn’t recommend going if you aren’t a fast learner or get anxiety because instructors definitely don’t help with that

Great introduction to scuba. Gu was a knowledgeable and patient instructor, especially while teaching me to control my buoyancy. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in trying out scuba.
