I am an experienced AOW diver, but I was on vacation in Maui with my grandson and his friend so took the opportunity to take them on a Discover Scuba dive. Gu was the dive master and he did a great job with these 13 year old boys. They really connected with him and enjoyed the dive so much they are hooked and want to become certified when we return home. Can’t wait to take them on their first Scuba trip. My experience with New Horizons was absolutely wonderful and would highly recommend them. They answered all of my questions over the phone before our arrival and were very accomadating, letting me book a dive with the boys so I could take video. The staff is wonderful. You can’t go wrong with them.

Extended Horizons is a different dive outfit. They are very professional where safety, technique and the ecosystem are their priorities. My daughter ended up having an issue with her ears, and Gabi adjusted to accommodate all parties (safety is #1), she was very knowledgeable in the local ecology and I look forward to learning more about diving and practicing so I can come back and do one of their ecotours on Lanai’i. Thank you again!

This introductory lesson is the real deal! You will go scuba diving 28-30ft down, surrounded by giant green sea turtles, nurse sharks, eels and a variety of fish as you swim through the coral reef. I am so happy I was able to get up the nerve to participate in this adventure! Gu was very patient in calming my anxiety. I will never forget the experience! It is life changing. Thank you Gu!
