The overview posted on trip advisor is accurate but there is so much more... primarily that the participants, all family members, all send out a 'we do it cuz we love it' vibe. Throughout the various activities they tell us the background of what is happening, take questions & point out things that we might have missed. Oh yes, did I mention the food?? I'm a vegetarian and the 'hangi' (feast) had plenty of delicious food to eat. According to my husband and those round us, the meat, fish and other things that I couldn't eat were delicious as well. Dramatic, educational & audience friendly just about sums it up.
