Cap't Tom, Jeremy, 'n crew, thanks for the spectacular balloon ride and breakfast ! Also appreciated the little nuggets of information about the desert flora and fauna, balloon technology.

During every vacation. I want to try something I've never done before. I had seen hot air balloons and they looked so beautiful in the air and I wanted to try it. I was a little scared since I'm afraid of heights, however; they reassured me that it would be all right. Todd, a member of the flight crew picked us up at our hotel and explained how the flight would proceed. It was interesting watching them inflate the balloon. John our pilot was great and as they said, I was not afraid and the views were awesome. We landed in the desert for a breakfast and they even had cake to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What a great experience.

Charlene, we are so glad that you put aside your fears and had a wonderful experience, including that wonderful breakfast with cake (no matter what others say, you can have cake for breakfast with Hot Air Expeditions!). It does take a lot of air to inflate the balloon, doesn't it? Sometimes, watching all the preparations helps settle the nerves. We hope that you will see you when to come back to Phoenix.

I had no idea what to expect but I had always wanted to ride in a hot air balloon since I was a child! When we got there I was scared about how scared I would be. I'm sure my face showed this. Jeremy was the driver and balloon handler, he quickly eased everyone's tension with his rock star comments and cool demeanor. We loved the balloon set up almost as much as the ride! It was miraculous and mesmerizing! Mike E. was our pilot and I felt very safe with him, there was no messing around he was experienced with excellent knowledge of the history of the southwest. When we took off it was weightless and wonderfully easy. There were twelve in the basket however, there was ample room. My husband and I loved it, it almost felt as though we were not moving at all, it was so beautiful and peaceful! Some things I am grateful for Nancy (receptionist)telling me, really- wear a hat,sunglasses, no tank tops-take the water they offer, you will need it!!!-the sound front the firing was part of it but if you're sensitive wear ear plugs. The heat is just part of it since I'm always hot the morning trip was best for us. Landing was a piece of cake- smooth and easy. Jeremy was there again for us to feel welcomed home. I'm no spring chicken so climbing out of the basket was slightly awkward - I don't recommend seniors (can't get in and out very easily) or young children who are not disciplined- (they rock the basket,scare the crap out at of everyone, not enjoyable-don't take them!). At the end we had a phenomenal breakfast with champagne!! It was very very amazing! I recommend it to everyone even if you are a little scared of heights, this team was really professional and really aware of each persons comfort! Great memory we had a brilliant time!!!
