This balloon ride was amazing. Beautiful scenery, very knowledgeable pilot (Mike). We floated over the Sonoran desert and could hardly tell we were moving; and then we landed perfectly for a delicious champagne breakfast. It is early!! (5 am) but well worth a little lack of sleep. Bucket list activity. (FYI there are no bathrooms as it is in the desert and in a balloon) The only thing I would add is some iced coffee at breakfast. Thanks for a very memorable morning!

This was great fun. It was easy to understand what to do and it is in an area that I was not concerned about safety. The pilot was very knowledgeable. The only thing was I thought we would watch the sunrise in the balloon. You get there at sunrise and as soon as the conditions are right, you take off. The is a brunch after and it was very nice. Everyone should try it once, even if you are afraid of heights.

Just spent a fabulous morning hot air ballooning over north Phoenix and the desert. Our pilot, Tommy, was wonderful along with his crew, Nick. They were top notch and made our experience so much fun. It is an early start but well worth getting up a little early to watch the sunrise over the mountains from high in the sky. Once you arrive at the launch site, you see them inflate the balloon and watch the crew in action get ready for flight. We then took off and Tommy was great in explaining how the balloon worked, pointed out things to see on the ground, etc... best of all, he made me feel really safe and I am scared of heights !!! It is incredibly smooth and almost like you are not moving at all. After we landed, we were served a delicious breakfast and toasted with champagne !! Such a fun morning and I would suggest using Hot Air Expeditions as they made this experience for us fantastic. If you can, request Tommy and Nick :)
