Went this evening with my dad and it was fantastic. We got to the airport at 4:00 PM and we were at the take off site and up in the air by 5:00PM. The ride was about an hour and it was awesome. There is so much to see and it is breathtaking! The pilot took us up to 6,000 ft. After we landed our Pilot,"Captain Yee Haaww" gave us a history lesson on ballooning and we had a champagne toast! The crew then set up some picnic tables and decorated it very nice with a fancy table cloth, napkins, and a candle. The food/snacks that we were provided with were excellent! We all watched the sunset and it was gorgeous. It was also my birthday so the pilot made me a little souvenir and a cake! It was well worth the money and a beautiful experience. Book your flight with Captain "Yee Haaww" (Mike) he was awesome! You will love this adventure!!

Hello Jenny, It sounds like you had a great flight with Captain Yee-Haw and were able to get some good height! Isn't it amazing how calm the air is when you are up that high? The Arizona sunsets are always beautiful, but getting to enjoy one in the desert after your flight while enjoying a warm meal is the cherry on top! This was an amazing experience! Everyone should do this at least once in their life! Hot Air Expeditions was very friendly and helpful from the first time I emailed them up until calling them to confirm where we met (however it would be better to know we just meet in a parking lot). Our crew member Jon was friendly, knowledgeable, and worked very hard! Walter our pilot was an interesting character... funny and full of great facts. It was a great ride and the bumpy landing(s) in the desert were a thrill! Great dinner and champagne and some off-roading back to the airport made it an unforgettable time.

This is our third flight with this company. We have enjoyed each flight, but Tommy and Nick are definitely the winning team for us! We are sure to do this again and will ask for Tommy and Nick every time :) They have a separate parking area at Deer Valley Airport. Follow the signs and make sure to go past the air guard area in front or you will have to go back and move your car. Super organized company. Clean vans. Good drivers. Regularly change put their balloons. Great pilots. Lovely champagne breakfast following the flight. Absolutely would recommend!
