When I heard we had to meet at the airport at 4:30 AM, I thought "ugh". Knowing what I know now after having done the balloon flight, I would have WALKED to the airport if necessary. My wife and I both felt it was one of the best experiences of our lives. Our pilot, Ron, was entertaining, informative, and obviously knew what he was doing. We actually had to land twice and both times were easy on us passengers. If you've never done this because you have a fear of heights (and who doesn't?), you need to know that it's a completely different sensation than, say, standing on a high ledge. We never had a single moment of unease.

It’s great experience, and it’s amazing seeing the seeing the sun rise. My only complaint - Wish they would have extended the cover all the way to the end of each side, so when the pivot pulled the flame/fire , it would not be that hot on the top and back of our head.
