Five minutes late and they were gone. No one answered the phone. Did the tour even take place or was it a scam? Later response was you can re-book another day which of course conflicted with other reservations. I do not trust this group.

Don’t go to mount vernon while it is under renovation. Not a lot to see if the mansion (which is the main focal point) is closed.

Mount Vernon is the destination and getting yourself directly there allow’s the proper time needed to visit this American treasure.
