This neighborhood and its cemetery tells the story of New Orleans from the Louisiana Purchase to the Civil War. Stunning antebellum mansions, lush gardens, unforgettable stories, and beautiful photo opportunities await! We keep our group size under 12 guests to make in a fun, personal experience.

James was a knowledgeable, fun and funny tour guide. Very much enjoyed his tour. Answered our many questions with thorough answers and a smile. Even helped us with recommendations for other local activities, food, etc. Great job!!

James was our guide. We went to Lafayette cemetery, although the cemetery was closed we learned so much about the customs. Also garden districts was interesting. James has wealth of knowledge on New Orleans which made our tour interesting.

I’m so happy you enjoyed your time with James in the lovely Garden District! Although we miss being able to bring our guests into the cemetery, we are grateful that the gates are wide enough that we can really get a good look in there and explain what we do with our dead in New Orleans. The Garden District is magnificent, and quite different than the other neighborhoods of New Orleans. A good guide like James can help visitors really understand our culture, but in a fun and comfortable way. Please walk and talk with us next time you make it here! Libby

The tour guide was excellent— good communication to make sure everyone made it to the right meeting place, very knowledgeable about NOLA, its history/customs, brought along some illustrative maps/photos and pointed out celebrities homes. Plus, he was funny!
