Short elevator ride to the viewing deck of the monument. Great views of the entire area. Small museum area. Recommended of it's not too crowded.

I had not visited the Washington Monument since I was very young, so was excited to return. The history and views were amazing and much better than I remembered. Advance ticketing is suggested and very easy. Tickets arrive the day before and easy to use.
