Wilderness Aware is an impressive operation and our guide Justin was tops! Justin shared history/geology/jokes while helping us navigate the rapids. We did Numbers in mid-July and look forward to coming back when the water is higher in 2021. Loved the fact that the waterproof jackets for rent aren't skanky! Remember to tip your guide! Guides take on a lot of responsibility and devote a lot of energy to ensuring that you have the best experience possible.

We are a group of seven (Scout Troop) and Wes was our guide for the canyon and Numbers, a full day of rafting. Wes was our “River Coach” who taught us to row like a team, focus on the rapids and enjoy the moment. We even took his recommendation for dinner, which was also excellent. The boys haven’t stopped talking about their time on the Arkansas River - Thanks Wes!
