Decided to take the early tour, 11am. Turned out my husband and I were the only ones who booked. We had a wonderful tour with Greg as our guide. We learnt a lot about the area. We warmly recommend this tour

What a most wonderful (meraviglioso) foodie tour! Within the first sixty seconds of meeting Greg, he feels much more like a long lost friend or relative than some overworked, ho-hum, ‘nyc tour guide’. My wife and I have no problem going on record saying “Greg was born to do this job”. Every single one of us here on TA that go thru the time and trouble to do our research and due diligence before we make that all important decision of who to book have second guessed ourselves with the question.... Did we make the BEST choice with our tour? If you are at all interested in a Food Tour in NYC.... especially the Italian neighborhood of Greenwich Village, Stop Searching.... GREG. IS. YOUR. GUY! Can’t say enough positive things about our tour with Greg. But here are some highlights that might help you: *Greg is Highly knowledgeable of the NYC area. *Has an Excellent and Very tasty variety of food stops. *Takes his customers requests and needs very seriously *Has a passion for food, and local history that is Contagious! Throughout our conversation early on in the tour, Greg found out my wife had a birthday the day before... he went out of his way, on several stops, to make her feel very special. A personal highlight for me, being a major Beatles fan, Greg played a small section of the Beatles song version of ‘Birthday’ on his cell phone speaker for my wife..... I mean, who does that for a couple he just met? Only someone who loves people and loves his job!! It’s the little things in life people!! The genuine care and love Greg shows to each of the shopkeepers and store owners that you will stop at over the tour, is something we have lost as a society. Thank you for the simple reminder Greg, that ‘joy’ can be found just by being nice and caring to those we encounter as we go about our day to day lives. My wife and I enjoy travel, and have taken many Food tours in several major cities, and Greg’s tour ranks right up at the top of all of them. Greg... keep loving people, and keep loving what you do, we highly recommend your tour, and next time we are in town with friends our relatives, we will be taking your tour again! Thanks again for a wonderful time! Mark and Traci Cardwell From SouthWest FL.

Ciao Mark and Traci, GRAZIE (THANKS!) for the wonderful five star review and endorsement. I'm beyond thrilled you had such a delightful and delicious tour with GREG WALKS NYC. I am most fortunate to tour the streets where my Italian American ancestors lived over 130 years ago. Tasty food, music, and history always make for a FUN tour. The samples have always been happy making especially for those tourists who taste Joe's Pizza and a delectable dessert from Rocco's Pasty Shop for the first time. And, I'm always keen to lend my voice to sing Happy Birthday. I'm pleased your extensive research helped you select GREG WALKS NYC. Thanks again for the rave review and generous tip. Happy Thanksgiving to you both! Cordialmente (Cordially) Grego (Greg)

We were a group of 5 (2 adults and 3 teens) and everyone loved the tour. The food stops were excellent and it was great to have a native to the area guide us around and point out interesting trivia.

Hi there, I am grateful you appreciated not only the food, but my perspective on being a local guy who has lived in the neighborhood for 28 years. Hoping you have a very happy Thanksgiving. Thank you again, Greg
