Our family had the pleasure of taking part in Greg's Italians of Greenwich Village food tour yesterday. Even though is was 16 degrees, we had the best time. The food was amazing but the best part was Greg's energy and love for the neighborhood and all of it's inhabitants. Greg was so knowledgable and friendly and it was clear that he had a special and personal relationship with each of the shop owners as we visited each eatery. He did a wonderful job of personalizing certain foods for the little kids and accommodating options based on our food preferences. His tours are superb and enjoyable for all ages. I would highly recommend this tour or any tour with Greg Walks NYC. He is the best! Thank you, Greg!

Happy New Year I'm always invigorated to tour with hearty tourists who don't mind warming up in 16 degrees with yummy food on a GREG WALKS NYC tour! One of the advantages of touring in this neighborhood is knowing my local tour purveyors for many years prior to creating GREG WALKS NYC. And, I love personalizing foods for each group to get bigger smiles from my tourists. STAY WARM and HAPPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR! Greg

Yesterday I had the pleasure of taking this tour ( Italians of Greenwich Village) with Greg. What a great host, Greg was knowledgeable, extremely patient(i wanted to buy everything we tried) and very charming. He has an intimate insiders knowledge of the neighborhood and makes it a lovely fun experience to learn a little and eat a little more. I would definitely recommend this tour. Thank you Greg!

We booked this tour before we left the UK, and think these tours are a great way to get a little local understanding of an area. We could not have had a better guide. Greg has lived in the area all his life and can trace his Italian family back to the late 1800s. A true New Yorker but with a real pride in his long Italian heritage. Visiting local churches where Gregs family had such a strong family connection made this tour extremely personal and real. With his help we found places we could never have found, like the wonderful shop selling coffee beans by the sackful that had queues waiting as it opened it's doors. The shop where we tried fantastic meat balls and heavenly tomato sauce was full of interesting things, then a cake shop full of incredible sweet confections and many others. So many interesting facts along the way we felt by the time the tour was finished we had made a friend and will recommend Greg and this tour to anyone visiting New York and will certainly catch up with Greg again ourselves when we visit again with our family in the future.

Hello Georgina, Touring with you and your husband initially, and then AGAIN with your family was delightful. Indeed, you were my favorite Brits! I am very fortunate to be able to share this neighborhood's amazing food and history with my family's history. And yes, I must agree the tomato sauce (on the meatball) is hearty enough to eat on its own with a big slice of crusty Italian bread. And the best way to end the tour is with sweets from Rocco's pastry shop. Thank you VERY much for touring, TWICE, the generous tips and for the sweets from London! I look forward to your return visit when we can share a cup of coffee, pizza and sweets, so I can spend time with my new friends from Britain! Merry Merry Christmas! Greg
