Set off on a musical journey through time as you tap your feet to the tunes that moved the nation in the 1960s and ’70s. Motor City Musical brings Motown hits from musicians like Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, and the Jackson 5 to the stage, celebrating the history of a genre that brought new life and rhythm to the American music scene.

Head to the GTS Theatre and settle into your seat as the curtain comes up on the cast of the Original Motown Tribute Show in Myrtle Beach – Motor City Musical. Travel back to the swinging ’60s, a time when music broke down social barriers, changed lives, and brought Americans together over a shared love of soulful songs. Learn the story of Berry Gordy, whose Detroit recording studio put some of the last century’s biggest musical names on the global radar. NOTE: Trip Advisor Seats are in the BACK of the theatre and not able to be upgraded. For better seating order directly through the theatre.

I loved the costume changes. However, I feel as if the act could have been more polished. Additionally, I didn't like the transition of songs nor did I feel as if they were the greatest singers. They need a live band backing them up.

I've passed the theatre many times and thought I'll have to check it out. I'm glad I did. The talent was amazing. The voices exceeded my expectations. Additionally, the talent interacted with the audience which made it more fun. I will definitely go to other shows at the theatre.

Awesome performance by VERY talented cast! Enjoyed the evening singing and dancing to tunes we grew up with. Loved the small theatre and the engagement of the audience. One of our top activities on our vacation. Highly recommend this for all ages!
